Sunshine for the coast!

beachs It’s been a one-two punch hitting Gulf Coast tourism and jobs! I rode my motorcycle down to Surfside and along the coast to Galveston August 1st and things look great.  I saw no sign of the oil spill. I know other areas have been hit harder than Texas.  This giant BP oil spill wreaks havoc on the Gulf of Mexico coastline from Louisiana to Mississippi and toward Florida. As early as today, BP may be able to seal the leak for good!

KTRH-740 and KPRC-950 Houston, TX Talk host Michael Berry’s latest agenda is to promote tourism and drilling and to put a face to the people harmed most by the [oil drilling] moratorium. Michael broadcasts live from an offshore oil drilling platform in the Gulf of Mexico from Monday through Wednesday, August 4, 2010. Historically speaking, Berry is the first Talk host to ever broadcast his radio show live from an offshore oil rig. Michael is fresh off his recent God Bless Arizona tour where he and his listeners caravan across the State of Arizona. They spend money and support local AZ businesses. Berry says that he wants to do something to show Texans’ support for their neighbors to the east.
